Saftey Check Sucks so BAD! I really need my car Safitied!
So I just got a 1989 Mx6 Gt Turbo and it came Lowered with Coil Overs. I took my car to my mechanic to get it safetied and this is the only mod it has so far and he told me that he doesn't safety lowered cars. So I went to the shop down the street and they told me the same thing. I would raise the car up to get it certified but I don't have the coil over wrenches to do it and my friends ones on his talon won't work for mine. Whats even worse is the fact that the 10 day permit has expired and I can't even drive the car around anymore to take it to different shops!!
Any suggestions on what I can do? Meet of Mazda's is coming up really soon and I want this car on the road so I can take it to my friends shop and get some work done to it before the Meet.
Thanks.

yah I thought you could get 3 or 4 ten day permits too. But when I went to the MTO to ask if I could get another they said no because the car is still in the old owners name and if I transfered the car to my name it would be Unfit (because I don't have a safety check yet) Its like a catch 22! hahaha
The system sucks. I am at a dead end unless someone knew where I could get a safety first so I could get the car plated then drive the car to the mechanic for a check. But I doubt that's going to happen.
