The real reason we modifiy our cars...
Ok let me start off by saying this probably had a lot to do with the fact that i had just dropped off a check for the down on Epics paint job and was still a little woozy by the size of it. But later in the day i took my boy to Toys"r"us to see if i could find him the Monster Truck that he wanted. I was driving the ***....tro van. Well after a good half an hour in the store we finally decided on one and prceeded to pay for it and leave. Get out to the parking lot and got up to the van and hit the little "un-lock" button on the key fob. Nothing. Hit it a few more times. Still nothing. Figured "****, battery is dead in this thing". Put jordan down and stuck the key in the door and tried to turn it. wouldnt move. Took it out flipped it upside down, stuck it in and turned. Still wouldnt move. Tried the other doors with the same conclusion. Started to panic a little (had flash backs to when i had my 88' and the ignition switch ****** up so bad i couldnt pull the key out). Then something caught my eye in the cup holder in the van. A little milk carton with a red straw in it... I dont drink milk... nor does Jordan, and i sure as hell ddnt have one in the van.....
Yes people. This wasnt my astro van. It was one that LOOKED EXSACTLY THE SAME!!!!!! I was parked one aisle over. Point is, never would have happened if it was Epic. I could never have walked up and made a fool outa myslef with any other red camaro.
This is why we modify, customize, personalize. To stand out. To be unique. To not fall into the background with everyother silver van and sedan out there. God it makes me want to mod the van now. I feel so dumb.

Except I hate seeing modded vans
I usually dont encounter this problem... I dont think Ive ever seen a camaro in person the same color as mine. I agree with your reasoning though. I think ive done that with a different car, maybe it was when I drove the van... I dont remember.

lmao ryan. i dont usually do that because im not in huge parking lots much, so i know where it is and i dont see many cars like mine anyways. theres a white LS1 WS6 tho that lives nearby and it looks just like mine from behind except the tailights.
