Question about returning the car

I bought a sinfire in dealership, obviously dealer promised the car to be perfect etc etc. I came at 1pm asked him if the car was ready, he was like no it will be ready at arund 4, ebcause he is gotta do emission and other , a friend of mine alreayd bought a car fromt aht guy so I didn't take it to mechanic and said okey. Came at 4, paid 3500, took it to mechanic (i know evry sutpid to pay first and then take it to emchanic)...at mechainc's bascially on the outside the car was perfect but the bottom turned out to be all rusted out and had a huge list of problems like about to leak gas tank, oil leak fromt ranny and other problems with which this car would never pass safety.
So basically 2 horus later I take car to the dealer, asking to refund the money, hes tarts saying how he cant return it himself but his boss gotta do it and how they can't retun taxes IF they decided to return. (bullshit) So I told him i ll come tommorrow to talk with their boss.
The quesiton is am I allowed to get a full refund in this situation?
thank you.

Good luck. I would suggest threatening a lawyer, but if you purchased it as is, it's yours. If you purchased it cert and etested, it's their problem to do whatever it needs. Generally the lawyer threat would do it. If not, well...

Frist off did u buy this bix from a dealership or a little used car lot.
U can call Minstory and tell them u bought a car that u feel was saftyed as fit and is a death trap. Now the safty is goof for 30 days this would be a good car to go the inspection lains and be E tested again see if it will fails. Note U can tell this guy that your lawyer has advised you to have this car inspected.

Other wise fix the box and next time u get a car go with your dad

I'd have to agree with Sir on this. Take it and go to the dealer, saying that you are having it recertified. Or you want your money back.

Yeah he could have his liscenses revoked, before he gets any fines. If the car is not a legal cert, you've got him by the ***** by taking it to a different shop and he'll know it.

Legally.
no matter what kind of deal or contract u signed with no matter who.
u have 3 days to get a FULL refund of your money. no matter wat the u signed or what kind of policy this perosn or company has. Because provincial contract law OVERRIDES ANYTHING bullshit piece of paper or agreeement. so go back to him and shove him ta tin teh face .. get a number for a layer and make the lawyer tel them that if they wont back off.

btw this si caled the " the cool off period".

Threaten to go to a lawer but better yet if they sold you a car that was supposed to be certified but it is not road worthy then threaten to go to the Ministry of transtportation (NTO) and report them. I bet they will fix your car quick because its a hefty penalty for giving safeties on cars that are not safe. After they fix it i would still go to the Ministry cuz chances are they are probably doing that to a lot of other people too. Plus it would be a good way to get back at them for wasting your time. Good Luck.
