Which one do you guys think?

Im stuck between these two cars im looking at and im wondering if you guys could help me sorta lean towards one with some experiences and/or suggestions.
I've only owned bmw's and now looking to switch over to either
a 98 vw vr6 with about 100k
or
a 1999-2000 honda sir also with about 100k

I know they have their pros and cons, but which one would you choose and why? Thanks alot ppl

The VR6 has potential up to 500hp. I'll let you know in the spring what a VR6 can do at 30 psi.

^^mind you they were 20+ year old bmw's not a big thing to brag about, just interest in them and time for a change.

Its going to be an everyday driver all season, it won't be a huge project car but it will have a couple subtle mods.

One car has sharper handling but an engine that you really need to wind out to go anywhere... the other car may not handle as well but has an engine that not only sounds amazing, but has a much better power band and potential to make more power (more cylinders, larger displacement). Whats more important to you... acceleration or handling?

BTW, the VR6 has a timing chain, not a timing belt.

If you would have known how to properly do the swap you wouldn't have had any problems :thumbsup

Sir like all the rest are saying. The Vr6 is overrated and being a 6 cylinder it will use more gas than the 4 banger Civic..gas prices suck and that would be enough right there to make my decision besides the maintenence costs on a VW compared to a Honda...honda's are dirt cheap and easy to fix....VW...goodluck lol Nothing wrong with VW but if you dont know them than you should stay away, Hondas are easy to figure out and you would more than likely not have any issues considering 100k is breakin time for the Honda motor...not so much for the VW! lol...Good Luck!
