NHRA and Compacts
I just happened to turn to ESPN 2 and they have all motor sport compact drag racing. I must say it's even funnier than I thought, I just saw one race and the "winner" ran a 11.5 and the loser ran a 13.3. The fact that daily driven street legal FBodies can beat the times of these completely built up "race cars" just makes me laugh so hard. Worst part is they are part of the NHRA, I just can't consider a Civic a hot rod.

Sorry but I just had to say something about that.

well im still not a fan of hondas, reguardless if they are fast or not. I may respect them for actaully getting it fast, but i still dont really like them

yeah theres this dude who keeps harassing me that his SRT-4 is faster...so the **** what his car sounds like ****, its a dinky 4 door thats uglier than most civics i have to say...and he payed 20 grand for it...i payed 6 for mine and its just as fast...whats the point?

I like the SRT-4's more than the Civic. I'd rather have a 2.4 turbocharged engine with well over 200hp instead of the Civic's 1.6.

i agree there, but I dont like SRT-4s mostly because most of the people I see with them around here are arrogant little high school kids, or ricers.. I think they are a good bang for the buck, but im not a fan of them so much because its basically a Neon spiced up a bit, which every driver of one denies
