New dyno results- Saab 9-3 Viggen
Well I got the car dynoed last night to see where I was power wise and what was going on with the AF. Results were 251 WHP 337 WTq :thumbsup ! Nice numbers to be sure, howerver the disturbing thing was a spike in the AF to 15+ in the 4.5 to 5.5 K RPM range. Before and after it's in the 10-12 range. This spike also made for a dirty dyno graph.I would like to see it at a steady 12:1 afr myself, but we'll see after I speak to the manufacture of the tunning SW.

is that a reflash or a piggyback?
soon it'll be time for a bigger turbo...
I'm curious though.. I don't remember if the N/A 2.0 litre intake manifold makes gains on the Viggen like it does with the 9000 Aero.
I've also heard guys having a lot of success with S-AFC's and switching to OBD1 9000 Aero engine computers, but then you lose a lot of the BCM functions.

This is for Nordic Stage 3 SW, 3" turbo back, intake, and turbo inlet piping. I have a 7cm exhaust hosuing and ported manifold to go on aswell as new 3" FMIC, and piping. With the new maping should be over 300 whp. Sadly because it is a T7 ecu, piggybacks do jack because ECU freaks out. So I am stuck getting raped for the Saab tunners SW. So as I get this new flash done, I'll hit the dyno again. Problem now is slipping clutch!

300 whp shouldn't be that tough to get once you throw the rest on....
It would be interesting to see the car running on an Saab TechTool to see if the car is trying to cut the boost due to the onset of detonation, and failing that pull a ton of timing out.
The "lean" spike seems like a gap where the fuel cut would have formerly kicked in.
