New driving law?

I heard that soon they are trying to make this a law that if you have your g2 you can only drive yourself around, but after 6 months you can take others around. Only, if you have a g person in teh car, before your 6 months you can take others around, this true?

Ontario's teens won't be overjoyed with the new law since it puts a dent in their driving habits.

Only one person under 19 can travel with drivers the same age who have only their G2 licence in the graduate licensing system. That increases to three people after six months, or when the driver turns 20.

The province's graduated licensing is a two-step process in which teens first get their G1 and then their G2 licence, a process that takes at least 20 months to finish.

However, the restrictions don't apply if the young people are family members or if the driver is accompanied by a fully licensed driver who has a minimum of four years' driving experience.

The changes address statistics that show teens are about three times more likely to get into an accident when carrying other teens.

woah man. don't break a tear... just do what every other g2 will do. drive with some common sence if you have passengers and don't make it obvious.. and you'll be fine.. and yeah, it will probably take time to pass, you may have your G before this is complete.. maybe. i dunno..

Oh yeah for sure, i always stole my car when i was 15 with no licence never got caught at all. And i was a shitty driver back then, lol. I always thought tho if you had ur g2 now, and they passed that law it wouldnt work for you sinc eyou already have it and under the old contract, and it would only work for people just getting it, i dunno but 2 years to pass a law, easily have my g.
