manual fan switch

Do you think that this is a rip off? I do. I did this myself for less than $10 just without the LEDs.

Just get a decent switch. One with an on and off (don't worry about the different speeds, the first speed they have won't keep the engine any cooler.) Find a good place to install the switch and measure how much wire you will need to go from the switch to the fan x2. A couple extra feet are always good to have. Find out witch wire is the power wire on the fan harness cut it and splice a wire in and run that wire to the switch. The other terminal on the switch you run a wire to the battery and make sure you use an in-line fuse (closer to the battery the better). It will already be grounded somewhere from the fan harness so you don't need to worry about that. You may need to test the switch position if it sais on and off on it. If it turns on when it sais off just swtch the wires on the switch and you should be good to go. Give yourself 1 minute-2 hours for installation depending on your mad skillz. After you run the wires I reccomend using that black flexy wire cover stuff to make it look better and zip tie it as much as you need to. YOUR WELCOME in advance!

Oh yah wherever you splice the power wire on the fan harness hook both wires you cut back up to each other and also the one going to the switch, this will allow it to turn on and off like it normally would without using the switch. You might be able to see a couple pics of some stuff about it on my cardomain(fuse, switch....)

if you need it your cooling system is broken, instead of rigging it up fix it right. I hate redneck engineering (turning on the a/c also turns the fans on)
