Just another reason to never take your car to a shop.
As some of you may I know I work at an autoparts store so I usually get to hear the dirt of what the local shops do. However I heard the best one today, one of the shops our store services does inspections and oil changes. Well, for some reason we have to give an "oil change special" deal to the owner which means he buys 5 quarts of house brand oil and a house brand oil filter for a total of seven dollars. Well, for some reason he got mad at one of the employees because he would never double bag the oil. Turns out when people ask for a specific oil and filter he stills goes out and buys the cheap stuff and still charges extra. :evil: He got pissed about the double bag part because one of the customers caught him trying to put the cheap stuff in their vehicle. As far as I'm concerned this guy is no better then a fu(king thief

Anyways, yeah, that's cheap, some people have no right to run a business. That's why we do everything ourselves.

and it's illegal, he's lucky he's not in a state like MI where tehy have to be lisenced 3 complaints to the board and teh license is pulled and shop is closed kinda like the health department

What don't you understand? The guy gets a discount on the "house oil" (which would be the cheap like "Pep Boys Oil" or "Autozone Oil" brand, right?) and filter. If a customer asks for the premium brand oil, he still comes to Chris's store and buys the cheap-o stuff but charges the customer the premium rate. He got upset at one of the employees where Chris works because he didn't double bag the oil, and Chris found out the reason he always wants the oil double bagged is so that the customer can't see what's in the bag (I.E. the customer can't tell if it's the cheap-o oil or the premium oil)

Well, for an update the dude who owned the shop ran around his shop with a gun today and threatened to kill himself. A police stand off occurred and the cops had to block off the main 5 lane road in town. He was taken down and hauled off to jail without a shot fired.
