Insurance companies post $4.2 billion in profits

Canada's insurance industry announced another year of astronomical profits on Friday. New figures for 2004 from the Insurance Bureau of Canada showed the sector made a combined net profit of $4.2 billion.
That's a record high and a 150 per cent increase, up from $2.63 billion reported this time last year.

That is B.S. bout the profit they're gettin.. just like gas company..
But how'd you propose we fight back?? writing to our MP and such won't do much.. the politician is in the bed with the insurance company. We all drive around with no insurance??

That would be the hard part.. cause they know we won't cancel cause we cant LEGALLY drive and even if the whole province cancels it wouldn't be sustained long enough to impact them.. they'll just turn around and tell us to bend over more after the strike is over
The only thing is if we start gettin postal on the execs. VP and such of those company and the new VP's and exec wouldn't want the same outcome and then will lower it ...
But that wouldn't be legal either.
