I know that if it is 16 years old or older than no rules apply, as to importing it. Your better off looking for one here because if you try to bring one from the states they are going to charge you out the butt. (knowing this because i just moved here and tried to bring my car) I hope someone else can be of more help then me. GL with the car!

If it's 15 years or older it may be admissable, but if it isn't it will not be allowed entry, regardless of whether or not it is currently registered and insured in the US.

Give http://importconcern.ca/articles/import.php#importing a read.

I should also clarify that just because it's in the US and registered/insured doesn't make it admissible as it won't appear on the RIV admissions list. You'll have to wait- sorry bud.

Thanks for your help guys. I contacted transport Canada and customs and they told me the same thing. It was no surprise to me that it wouldn't be allowed

Why the hell would you want to drive a RHD car here?
