Bought the Z26 for 2000... have almost 9000 in it now. Bought the Z28 for 2800, have about 8000 in it now, with another 5000+ to go.

Damn this is an expensive hobby.

Yeah it is an expensive hobby... sometimes Im really hesitant about putting all this money down, but I know it makes me happy in the end. My favorite hobby, so its going to a good cuase.

Julian, you gonna make it to CSF this year?

umm, heres my list
Car $500
Rear end $300
Tires $450
Transmount/ sway bar endlinks $50
Fuel pump $150
Clutch $200
radio/speakers $350
big block $1000
Machine work/ BB parts $3500
i think thats most of the bigger stuff, i still have to oder my cage, get a trans for the bb, get ingition, intake, oil pan, valve covers, timing chain cover, Fuel pressure regualtor, carb, and lots of lil stuff for the bb, yea its an expensive hobby.

i havent put much money in my car at all it sucks, i was planning on putting alot into it then i bought the bike and that kinda destroyed those plans lol thats 8500 that could be in my car

Too much lol. I have started to add it up a couple times but just thinking of the paint, wheels and transmission is enough to make me stop since it's already up too high imo. Doesn't stop me from spending more though.. heck I am still on my second and third cars so I get my enjoyment out of what I put in

im not even gonna go into listing all of my mods etc.. but..

i payed 6500 for the car totally stock..

and with the new wheels and tires that are on it now.. and all the different parts and what not i have gone through it add up to just over $16,000 in modifications.. itll be betweeen 18-20k by the end of the summer..

and that doesnt include the price of the car.. lol. def an expensive hobby..

2000 for the bodywork, 300 for parts.
