How much cheaper to insure

a V6 98-02 Firebird than my two cars? I think both of mine may be up for sale soon Is a V8 really that much more? I don't know but I fear I have no choice any more.

Don't know about a Firebird, but my 98 Z28 isn't that much more than the 96 3.8 V6 I used to have (I had the V6 when I was 16 and the Z now that I'm 18) Don't know if that helps any, but good luck

True, but if she already has one then she prob knows about the high cost of insuring a sports car. My overall opinion is that there won't really be that much of a difference between the v6 and v8. I could be wrong tho...I guess we'll find out if she checks with the insurance company

For liability on both of my cars, I pay 73 bucks a month. My driving record is pretty clean and I'm a 22 year old male. When I first bought my Z-28 when I was 19, my insurance was 116 a month for both cars. When I only had the V6 Camaro, my insurance was 121 a month.

Why are you selling?

Shes pregnant.

But the difference in money isnt going to be 'that' much between a v6 and v8. I have a clean driving record as per the last few years, and mine is still 50ish per month, just for the maro, with nothing but liability.

EDIT: Oh, and im 23, so age isnt much of a factor.

lol no I'm not pregnant and I don't plan to be any time soon. I don't want kids for a long time. I have a clean record right now, but I have some trouble with the law that I don't want to discuss that has put me in a bad position :banghead:
