Here soon hopefully

Well I'm looking for a third Gen Camaro, I have found a couple around here that are in decent shape. They both have good looking bodies, meaning no rust being it doesnt snow alot down here, but they do have minor dents and scraths thoughtout the cars life, but do able. They both need new motors, both v6's, so that gives me the chance to put in a V8 . To all the 3rd Gen owners, how hard is it to swap out a v6 to a v8 and to swap a auto to manual tranny. This is going to be my project car for a while, it wont be done till i get back from deployment, but till then i will work on what i can. The only real problem im forseeing is the swap from 6 to 8 and the tranny swap. What is required and how much labor is needed? I do have technician training from my Auto Tech class back home so I plan on doing the work myself.
