im thinking about doing a BB in the camaro. 800 isn't bad, it would be much cheaper than building a 383.

But i have heard much abou the 402's they any good or do they have a 305 reputation?

i think thats a pretty good deal, get rid of the high volume oil pump, cast intake and open chamber heads(or get bigger pistons) and bore it. its good that its still original bore size, but what about the crank and pistons and other stuff like that. its gonna cost quite a bit to get it running strong and reliable, but it would really kick some *** and that would be a good jump on building a good motor.

it's high for a junkyard motor you should be able to get one like it for around $300 it's been sitting so it needs a rebuild just an example (was at teh top of the searches)
