Cheap and turbo rebuilding should not be in the same sentence.

That aside, go to J&R in brampton, located near Steeles and Rutherford (hwy. 410)

I'll agree, Herman knows his stuff. He'd be able to stuff in a larger compressor wheel if you'd like for some more power

Agreed. I've spoken a meet Herman when I was at St.Thomas Dragway. He is very intelligent and if I was going to rebuild my turbo.. i would send it to him.

His prices aren't the cheapest around.. but you dont want to cheap out when rebuilding a turbo

And I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I don't trust myself enough with a turbo, especially one that's going on my car. Maybe for someone else

Well unless you managed to let the bearings in the turbo to get bad enough for the turbine on either side to touch the housing then theres no need to "re-balance" just mark the position of the wheel before you take it off the shaft. Pretty simple. You might have a hard time finding a small enough c-clip tool to get the c-clips on the bearings out. Other than that its pretty straight forward. $100 bucks in parts is alot cheaper that $600+ to rebuild it if your wheel is okay...
