Engine bay ideas please
Okay guys, I can't do any performance mods since they cost too much, but I can clean and dress up my car a bit. The one area that I can't seem to figure out what to do with is under the hood. Here are some pics to help you guys see how it looks so far:
--Ideas so far that are in my head are as follows:
--Battery cover- Mirror grade aluminum with "Z28" decal
--Fuse covers- Mirror grade aluminum. 1 with a bowtie(horizontal fuse box) and nose emblem(for the vertical fuse box)
--!wire loom mod is in the works, just have to get some zip ties and velcro
--FRC's are a thought, but right now, just out of the price range
--The brake lines I'm thinking of painting silver or chrome to give them a shine. I've seen new ones and they're still dull
--My power cable to my amp will be re-routed shortly as well... just gotta steal dad's power tools again lol....
Othe than that, I'm stuck. So what else can be done to this engine bay to help make it look better. I know I have to clean it more, so don't say to clean it. It's a project that is still in progress......

Your engine bay looks pretty clean already. If you're on a budget you can refine it by cleaning up the engine block with a stiff bristled brush and some Simple Green. Just make sure to wash all the simple green off because it will stain & corrode aluminum.
You can remove all the stickers from the fender wells and cross member. You can paint the caps aluminum color or black...
Polishing is practically free, just takes time. You can polish anything that is aluminum on your engine, just depends on how much dedication / time you have. You can paint your valve covers if polishing isn't your style. Polish your ABS block & throttle body. Paint your intake manifold cover (it's really easy to get off).
Do the wire mod & latch cable relocation. Relocate all your grounds.
Paint the front bumper support.

im only saying this cause im a stereo guy and noticed your amp power wire runs to ur auxilary power terminal depending on what kind of power your stereo draws this isnt healthy for the amp/car. the cable should really run to the battery its hitting a major bottlneck going to that auxilary power terminal and can cause voltage problems
otherwise it looks pretty clean
otherwise it looks pretty clean
