the 4th gen was a low seller, why design on one of the worst selling cars you made? The big thing right now is the retro design example they have has a very positive public opinion, one off the 4th gen wouldn't (the design opinion on the 4th gen is a step above the big bumper mid 70's cars that also outsold the 4th gen) when you design a car you do it to sell.Gm concentrated on quality (they are leading in all teh quality surveys) there are no car designers I think because noone has imagination anymore, I even see it here, guys go noone makes this part I saw, where can I get one.I say make it and they act like I ytold them to fly to the moon

it'd be weird having the camaro and not the firebird. They almost need the firebird to make this work. They need them both back, they handed the whole pony market to the stang. Here is my take on stock performance; the z28 should be a 385-400hp ls2, ss (if there is one(400-415hp ls2), v6 like a 3.8 or something with 250-275hp(yes I know a lot out of a v6, but now days that is competitive 6 numbers with the new japanese models)

yeah, they came out in 67, also. 67 Firebird is one of my all time dream cars. In fact, I think it is number one on the list.
These two are 2 of my favorites ones: http://www.firebirdgallery.com/1st%2...s/67fb12.1.jpg
