Generally this is easiest done in something like a GN, or supra. When you're staged, hold the car with the brakes, and push down on the gas enough to build boost. Then when you get the start, you've already built up som boost with the turbo, and you don't get as much turbo lag. There is a vid of a GN on here somewhere, that is a perfect example. I'll see if I can find it. He is staged, and you can hear him get on the gas. When he gets the green, the car launches so hard the front wheels come of the ground for the first 60 + feet. That's brake boosting.

Chigga street rep is low. keep going
in another word, it simply depends on the stall speed of the torque converter. Autotmagics are great for burn-outs and drag racing, but damn I can't stand my tranny.

Usefull on roll racing....

While cruising slightly apply brakes and press the gas down at the same time. You have to apply each pedal with enough pressure so your speed does not increase/decrease but your rpm does. Release brake when you built desirable boost. If it is rwd, be prepared for the back end to break loose.
