If I had even half the money I would get it..

And yes, I bet once the word got out you could make your money back. Esp if you figure out a way to mount it on a trailer if possible and took it to big car shows. That way everyone can put their money where their mouth is and dyno cars to see who actually is making the power they say they are. I know dyno numbers mean nothing to most people, but if you compare two cars on the same dyno same day you can get a pretty guess as to who is faster.

Yeah they did that at CarCraft this summer, had a competition to see who had the most horsepower. At one point theyhad to put in new software that exceeded 1300 hp. It was cool to watch nonetheless

its not worth it, its only capable up to 150 mph?? the dyno we used was the big one and we spun cars well past 150 mph, sooo if you want to dyno stock cars then go for it.

most dynos won't go much over 1000 hp and even teh ones that do the error rate goes up to around 30%. same with teh speed the dynojet ones will do up to I think 200 mph but they also tell you the reults will vary

We should get a portable Mustang Dyno. Not just for the dyno numbers but you can get them with the 1/4 simulation as well. Just something extra to help make money.
I have no doubt we could make our money back. I know if I put an ad in the local paper all the ricers would show up to pay $50 to do a couple pulls. Then I would take it up to GLD's as well.

I would say that honestly out of every 100 cars you would dyno you might get one that would max your dyno, even thats generous.

Doesn't it almost seem as though everyone who says they have a 9 second never drives it or its getting a 'certain' part so its off the road. I know my car is still under the knife so I can't say much. I would say that if you max the dyno then your pull was free- simple as that.

the dyno i used was good up to 1750hp and 2000ft/lb torque.

trust me, more often than not we spun cars and trucks over 150mph

I love reading the articles in magazines where they ask the owner what his numbers will be before the run, and he's off by a mile
