adjusting valves
tomorrow is my day off, and im going to be bored...so im wondering what the best way is to adjust valves. there are two ways i know of.
one way is simple, put the cylinder at TDC and adjust both valves...
another is trickier, but ive heard is more accurate. rotate right until intake valve closes, then adjust exhaust valve. rotate right until exhaust valve begins to open then adjust intake valve. the theory behind this is each valve is adjusted when its on its base circle, hence greater accuracy.

you just keep rotating the crank 90* and then there is a sequence you have to follow, and honestly i dont remember, its prolly simple and makes sense but i dont know how it goes.....its like you said tho get it at TDC
