Tranny cooler lines, trouble installing

I have a 71 mustang convertible in which I recently pulled the 302 motor and C4 trans and rebuilt them. I am now in the process of installing both. I put headers on the rebuilt engine and now I cant seem to get the tranny cooler lines to line up with the radiator and tranny. Any suggestions? Will I have to go to rubber hoses instead of the pre-bent steel tubing?

Thanks for your time,

Shawn

Hi rebuilding the motor, trans. and installing headers, will have nothing to do with the cooler lines. Check and see if you have the motor mounts installed correctly. Rubber hoses are fer lazy people.

The stock cooler lines wont correctly feed into the tranny because the headers are in the way. The motor mounts were never removed.
