hey guys whats up? im new here and i was wondering if you guys could help me or lead me in the right directions

im from winnipeg and im looking to import a 98-01 linclon town car,
but i heard that the old taxis in t dot are sold because thye are older than 5 years? and they replace or rebult the engine and tranny..

anyone know anything about that? cuz they sell it for cheap like 4-6 grand!
but a few things are holding me back. the frame condition. im building a lowrider so the frame has to be good. and the maintance. since they were cabs i dunno how bad they abused.. since its mostly highway driven it shouldnt be that bad.

i dunno much but if someone could help me that would be awesome thanks!
