First time at the Strip

Going to the Stip for the first time with my Baby (mustang) tomorrow night vroom vroom...Any suggestions or recommendations from those who have ran the 1320 before?

If I break 14.9 I will be content...damn 290,000 kms and factory 2.73's in the rear. I am putting the 3.55's in the rear at the end of the month, so that should be a fun comparison

No pics or vids, sorry...camera is with my bro 2 hours away.

88 LX hatch.

I have a G-tech...and it shows my fastest to be a 14.9 @ 100. Spun a lot through the 60, but I am hoping with the stickiness and the atmosphere I will be able to get a little more outta her. We'll see how accurate the G-tech is tonight

Pretty stock, just cold air intake and a few minor interior mods.

BOOOOOO...rain, not much compound on the track due to it being the first night it's open for the year, crappy weather = bad times.

Was spinning through first, second, and just into third. Quickest time was a 15.037. 60 footers were bad all night long. Traction was the issue. Different gears and sticky tires are soon to come, and I want to see my time drop atleast to 14.5 ATLEAST!!!

Fastest MPH was 95.8 too...so the top speed is kinda sorta there, just have to get the first 300 feet to go better.

Don't floor it in first gear, thats a common mistake most people make in radial equipped stock(ish) Stangs. With a 96mph trap speed spinning through the first three gears you'll probably see a 14.6-14.9, more traction will = a lower mph.
