crane cams ignition help

Is anyone running a complete crane cams system. hi-6 with new the crane cams distributor and the crane cams coil. I hooked everything up correctly, but the hi-6 is not blinking at turnover!! I cannot figure this out. The book says there is no signal if this happens, so my only recourse is to change back to the original distributor. If anyone has this setup and can help, I would appreciate it!!

i figured it out. the wire i was using to send the hot to the distributor, was not hot during cranking. I had to find a wire that was hot during cranking to make it work!! it is alive again!!! and it sounds better. I still have more work to do, but I think it will be moving to its new home under its own power now!!!
