True trilogy had its golden moments... all the special match types and a large character source..... How about which one had the greatest story element though...??

Yes three had the greatest options of the earliest ones but you can't beat the classic style of the original.... who likes the new ones for next generation system or any thoughts on those... are there too many mk's should they stop?

Mortal Kombat II for the win (the one with Baraka lol)!

I still play it on PS2's Midway Arcade Treasures...quite a bit actually.

The original MK was awesome too and a close second place for me, but the control was just sluggish. Every MK after the amazing MK2 proceeded to go downhill farther and farther. And the latest fatalities versus the first two...ugh! Nothing beats the Pit.
