Man I started my schedule change today, workin 7am to noon Mondays and Wednesdays to work with my school schedule, i'm so tired.

I think I'm almost done with the software side of the carPC. The mic I bought doesn't work, so I'm debating back and forth how much I actually need it. The calibration on the touch screen *SEEMS* to have gotten better, although I still can't recalibrate it. I'm not sure how the GPS works until I get it outside, the gps antenna won't work inside buildings. I have all the music on the comp and have a gig left over on space, so that makes me happy.

What do you guys think? Take my time and do it fully, or cut a corner and skip voice recognition?

yeah, good point. I'm trying to figure out the biggest problem: my usb hub and wireless ethernet card won't work at the same time. once I get that figured out, I need to purchase a small portable keyboard to use... windows wants me to logon when it starts up because of the wireless card being plugged in, major grrrr on that factor.

Depends. Are you going to end up making another CarPC, or is this the final one for the Camaro? If you plan to stick with this one, take your time (although I am anxious to see the finished product). If you are going to do another one anyway, then just slap it on in there!

this is v1. I'm already planning v2 and this one isn't even in yet. lol
