You cannot place blame solely on the radio station. Those people were there and knew the risks. You normally don't have to sign a waiver unless there is a risk of bodily harm to begin with.

I saw that before I passed out tonite... Theyre suing since the radio station did nothing to help her when she said she was in pain.
Hm.. Sounds very familar to what I said earlier in this thread. Cant say I didnt see this coming at all.. I honestly hope they win the battle, and win money. The radio station was stupid to not look into it before they did it, reguardless if they had them sign waivers. Thats like having them eat their own ****, then going, oh I didnt know what would happen.. But they signed waivers.
including one DJ who noted that they should have "researched" water intoxication before conducting the contest
