yes i said impreza, swaps are cheaper then buying the actual performance car hence the reason one puts a type R engine into a non type R car.

If you were going to do a swap into an Impreza and cost was a factor, why not buy a mid 90's Impreza sedan and then swap something into that? They are much lighter then the newer Impreza and more of a sleeper... and they are cheaper. Some might say they look better, but that is personal preference.
Personally, I would have bought a mid-late 90's base Impreza and swapped something stupid into that. But then again, I like ugly *** cars (obviously).

^ ... and you've got a chassis designed for a transvere mounted inline three. It's not a direct, or easy swap. I'd probably still have my Justy if it were.
