Do you tell the truth or lie? I need to sign up for an EZ board but I don't see why these people need my personal infromation. In the contract for some reason they warn you not to fake your personal info.

depends on what kind of personal info they need. If its basics, I usually tell the truth.

The only think I usually won't give is my real phone # and my apartment #. I'll give them the street address, just not which unit I live in.

I'm truthful with everything, only the # I give is my cell... it has caller ID and I don't answer unknown calls. I dunno, I guess I'm just not paranoid about stuff like that, especially considering if someone REALLY wanted to find out your information it wouldn't be hard at all.

yeah, i usually give out my cell on stuff like that instead of my home phone.
