What's happenin', peeps? (It's a novel I know)
Well, it's too hot to sit in my car for lunch and I'm too broke to go get somthing to eat so I decided to spend my lunch break today inside at work (with the A/C) and catch up with my freinds at Projectcam.... I mean, CamaroEvolution.
Life's been moving right along on my end. I'm neck deep in the wedding stuff with Lisa. The big day is about 8 months away and most of the big stuff is taken care of - photographer, reception site, chapple, catering, etc. About the only big things to worry about now is the DJ and the cake (along with all the millions of little things). We tried to keep this thing as inxpensive as possible but it seems these days that unless you do a drive-by wedding in Vegas and recpetion at Denny's then it's going to brake you. We're looking at close to $15K for where we are now... thank God for our parents... in any event thats the big thing right now.
Lisa is still looking for a job but I'm making enough to keep all three of our heads above water at this point so not a huge worry. Economy is horible right now and I truly think she should concintrate on school now anyway. She got got in to Cal State Fullerton so it should only be 2 more years.
Jordan has just started Kindergarden (now part of the Los Angeles public school system) God help him. He's lovin it though. Got homework and working on computers and everything. He's so cute with his little backpack every morning. Lisa and I are part of the PTA and we do actully go to the meetings every month if nothing else just to keep an eye on the "behind the scenes" of Jordan's teachers and facalty. It's funny though, I was dropping about a benjimin and a half a week on daycare and was looking forward to not having to worry about that now he's in public school but for some reason with book orders and PTA donations and Jordan's lunch and all the other "needs" of the school it feels like I'm still out the same thing. No mater, it's all for Jordan and that makes me happy.
Since this is still first and formost an automotive forum, I should update you on Epic. She's running fine with a few small excpetions. Typical LT1 she's pissing oil down the driveway every morning. It's not huge but I can't for the life of me figure where's its coming from. Oh and I thing her starter is going bad. Autozone teasted it and they say it's fine but it clicks like a ***** fracker before it actully turns the engine over some mornings and I can't imagine that would be anything else. I'll look into these things all in due time. As far as new mods, I'm not sure what the last update I've given is so if I end up repeating some things forgive me. Side stripes were put on (they match the hood stripes). Battery relocated to the trunk. Updated to LS1 style "lid" intake with MTI clear lid. Decals on tonneue covers removed and replaced with 1967 camaro cross-flag emblems (much better in my opinon). Tail-lights have been blacked out. I have installed hood-pins - more for trying to close up the gap in the hood/nose than looks but in the end I do like how it looks so... And most importantly I have figured out the side-exiting exhaust project I've been toying with years. Thats the good news, the bad news is I think I may have to re think it. I've lost way too much ground clearance routing it the way I have. I scrape on everything and feels like I'm going to rip it off. May have to go with oval tubing and pound up the floor boards a bit more. Plus there was no room for mufflers so she's loud as . I like the sound but it won't pass smog here in Cali and the cops won't like it. But it looks good..... eh. I'll get pics of her up soon.
On another note, I'm working on buying my ex's (Jordan's mother) old 95 camaro Z. It's been sitting from a blown head gasket for the last 4 years or so, but otherwise it's in good condition. Shouldn't be too hard to make run again and it'd be nice to have another chevy in the family. Lisa's Tarrus is on it's last legs and who knows, if the camaro gets to a good point we may be able to sell it for a profit or use it as a trade in for the Camry Lisa really wants... who knows. At least I'll have a differant car to work on for once.
Thats all for me at this point. Whats happening with all of you? Who's the regulars here these days? I know Paar and Chad is here. Bernosa too. Otherwise I don't know where the board stands these days.

I will, unfortunatly I'm at work and my camera is at home. As soon as I get a chance I will. She dones't "look" all that differant from before. The exhaust tips coming out of the ground effects/ hood pins/ and side stripes are all the noticable differances. I'll get the pics up soon I promise.

Oh it's still there, but like I think I said before thats probably notgoing to happen for a while, the wedding thing has to happen first, then finding a home (apartment or house) after that... priorities you know. My 70 chevelle dream won't leave me anytime soon - good things happen to those who wait.

It's good to hear from you and to hear you're doing well!
Unfortunitly weddings are horribly expensive, my wife and I would have had so much more money when we started our lives together if we hadn't had to pay for our enitre wedding ourselves but that's just the way it goes sometimes.

Tell me about it Chad. It's blowing me away how expensive this is getting. But it's worth it.... right? I mean a Vegas wedding wouldn't be as good right? : /
The pics... yah, give me time - for some reason I can't seem to figure out how to get my camera to upload the pics. Strange it was working a few days ago....
