your best bet is to play real cd's, to get the most out of it. if youre trying bump with MP3 cds, ipod aux in, or satellite radio, youre not going to be getting the max capacity out of it. this is something most people with a system should know though.
next is make sure your is tuned nice, and dont go setting it up gay with +10 base setting on the head unit. tuning a system tight isnt the simplest procedure, so read up on it, or have a friend in the know check your setup

I play my songs on MP3 cds and on atleast 192kbps. But for me that sounds good, could probably be much better if I've try to tune the system in properly and play original cds but it works for now as it is.
