The red one is actually for the LA autoshow and will be rolled out AFTER the unveiling. They're not going to have it there when it hasn't even been officially unveiled yet. This is a rumor, atleast, and "confirmed by insiders" on CamaroZ28.com through third parties, no direct confirmation as of yet. But, there has been previous threads week ago saying that a red one will be push at LA and the silver model (pictured by Automobilemag) is the one that is going to be unveiled in Detroit. So far, seems like they were right. Automobilemag has it in silver and Road and Track has it in red... Either one of them was good at photoshopping or there truely are two concepts out there, which would make sense if one is in LA and one is in Detroit. Seems to me that Silver and White are "the" unveiling concept colors, I've been watching the NAIAS coverage where they are showing all the unveilings and such, and it seems the majority are silver or white, atleast from the ones I've seen. Anyway, back to sanding my damned headliner. Agh my back.

It's alright. It looks okay in black, but I don't really like it in blue, and if I don't like a car in blue, then I'd never buy one. Its just not slim enough for me(too boxy), and those wheels are a real turn-off (the size).

I think it is what it is,... and that's a "CONCEPT"!
I've been watching this one for a while now, and it's quite obvious there's a lot of different opinions about this new "CONCEPT" car. I think that people sometimes forget about how important change really is, and in order for things to really improve,...they have to change. I'll be completely honest with you,.....I didn't really know what to think of it when I first saw it. I mean for a guy who's been around since the beginning of the Camaro, I've watched these cars CHANGE from one Gen. to the next,....and I can understand how people would both love it and hate it at the same time.
I've listened to this type of conversation for over thirty years, and regardless of what GM decides to do with it, there's always going to be those who just don't care for it. But you know what? That's ok. It's literally impossible to build a car that is going to please everyone,... but as long as we have the freedom to choose the things we like, and pass on the things we don't, then I say keep on changing them. The more the better, that way theres more to choose from.
As stated under my tatoo picture, and probably in my introduction somewhere,....It took me quite a while to come around and finally see all the awesome features that the newer cars had to offer, and since I became a more open-minded person, and can finally see outside the box, I realize that CHANGE is a good thing.
So,...while there are things I really like about it, there are also things that aren't my favorite,.... but I'm most certainly not going to go as far as to say I hate it. I do like it a little better in the pictures that Adric changed in post #54, and agree with the statment about it lookiing a bit sexier with it slimmed down a little. I also agree with the size of the wheels,... I personally think the car would look better If it had 18's on the back and 17's on the front, but that's just MY OPINION, and goes to the previous comments about everyone having different likes and dis-likes.
I think that everyone here deserves the right to express there own opinions regarding what they think about this new "CONCEPT" car. The reason I keep highlighting the word concept, is because,.....untill something actually rolls off a production line, that's all it is....."A CONCEPT". So, even though I might not see eye to eye on some of the comments and opinions, I respect every single one of them.
Good grief, ....I'm sorry guys, I didn't mean to ramble on like that.
