Well, not sure were this place is, but it could happen. Legally, I don't think it could, but even is the cops here did, they could hold it until it come up in court. Court dates could be anywhere from 30 to 60 days away for first appearance. So with a $150 hook up fee, $2.50km, plus $30 a day, that could really add up. Not sure if they could hold it that long, but the laws are changing so often, no one except the cops and lawyers know about them.

damn...
Freakin' police. Bet that officer in the pic prolly took that car for a boot and got the scared out of him...no officer, that car prolly has more ***** then ur laptop filled cruiser.
Ya know, if the police in toronto and surrounding area started promoting street racing, but supervised it...things would be much better, even if they has a small entry fee to the streets where the races were, it would also bring some money back to the city. I heard they do that up in Missasauga.

Its a 9 second car, BUT a 9 second mustang with either a ford or chevy smallblock with nitrous and various used parts can be built for prolly 6-7 grand IN THE states. Here.add 10 grand.

I don't know Mustangs that well, but that doesn't look like a 5.0L engine to me... it looks more like the 4 cylinder. And it sure as hell looks like a stock Mustang rather then a $75,000 Mustang. I think you'd be able to at least see something shiny under the hood if there actually were that much money in it. I'd bet that article is a just something the local police created to strike fear in street racers. Either way that cop looks like a retard standing beside the supposed $75,000 100% stock Mustang he confiscated.

yeah 75k is enough coin to have made 5+ cars approach the 10 second region or more... maybe whoever appraised the car got it mixed up some some luxury exotic
