Take it to the Track! Vette crash on 427
Okay, too many "incidents" happening too often. Either people are getting goofy and taking too many risks with the warm weather or the news is reporting every accident as a Street Racing incident.

Keep it off the busy streets guys!
Let the profiling begin.

im going with street racing on this one.
Street racing may be behind a dramatic crash on Highway 427 overnight that demolished the front end of a Corvette and left its driver in critical condition.
The person behind the wheel of the Corvette Stingray was taken to hospital with serious injuries after the vehicle smashed into the guardrail on the highway's northbound lanes near Rathburn Rd. at about 11pm.
The front end of the car was completely destroyed by the impact.
Ontario Provincial Police arrived on scene and immediately closed the 427 in both directions for the ensuing investigation. They now believe the Corvette's driver may have been racing with one or two others and they're now looking for other individuals who may have driven off after the crash.
"There may have been two other vehicles involved and we're exploring a bunch of possibilities in regard to three vehicles traveling at a high rate of speed," explained OPP Const. Linda Dean.
"But we are hoping that anyone who witnessed the accident and saw the silver Corvette and possibly a yellow Corvette or a third in this area to contact Toronto OPP or the provincial communications centre."
Highway 427 was reopened at about 5am Wednesday, six hours after the crash. The Corvette driver remains in critical condition at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.

i drove by a bit after the crash....
yeah definitively ULTRA highspeed, the guardrail was demolished, that car was sitting a good 300 feet after the guard rail and the ENGINE was sitting another 500 feet from the car, in the middle lane of 427, while the car was in the eglinton/27 section....a black 4 door car had front end damage from hitting the engine...surreal man, surreal...
