Santa came early :D Need some opinions tho.
Well, Santa came early for me. I talked my parents into letting us open presents early because we have a fairly busy weekend. I got a red LED underbody tube kit, a strobe flasher (will probably be used to strobe my parking lights), 3 yards of carbon fiber ( plenty to do my "Berger" and have some left over for my armrests), Eurolights.com sealed-beam housing conversion kit [twist in headlight bulbs from now on, no more siliconing Sylvania Silverstars in place!!!! ], and my red carpetting. My dad also made me a plaque with the logo from the company that I left, it's pretty cool.
Anyway, here's the opinion part.. the carpet's darker than expected. It's red, but like a burnt red, not the bright red of the exterior. My dad even said it was a lot darker than he expected, so I'd just have to exchange it if it wasn't the one I wanted. So, do I go lighter red, or keep the dark red?
Here's the "Red":
Here's the "Firethorn":
Here's the "Neon Red":
I'm torn between which I want. I like Firethorn, it looks like it'd be the correct red that I need. What do you guys think? Here's the carpet.

well i think firethorn is the right one, but i know how it is looking at a sample color online then seeing it in person. its always darker. neon red might be it, but the fact that its called "neon" might mean its really really red.
go with firethorn
go with firethorn

Is it darker than the red in my car? If so i'd say trade it and go brighter. I love my carpet, it's so eye catching. If it's the dark red that i think it is then it's no more apealing than that red in the 3rd ges... kinda blah.

Well, bad news.
Looks like I'm stuck with the carpet I have. I originally had "black carpet" with the link to the order form on my christmas list, but then last minute decided I really did want to go with red colored carpet, so I switched it to say red -- didn't pay attention to the fact that there's different ones of red. So, this is a lot darker than I had planned, but I'll just have to go with it and hope in the end it turns out aight. Since it was a Christmas present, I don't want to be too upset about it lol.
