Racing Rocks
I have driven hard on many roads, raced serveral go-karts, and used
simulators to quench my thirst for racing, but nothing has given me
the same knid of rush as when I entered the track at shannonville race
track, 2 weeks ago. I am now hooked at a different level to my hobbie
of choice. I encourage anyone thinking of going to the track to do so.
Don't wait until you thik your car is "Good enough", just go with what you
have and drive it to the max. It's the drive that I'm after, not looking
good. I hope you join the race

btw. When you saying "racing" do you mean that you went to your first wheel-to-racing racing event or a lapping day? There's a big difference between the two. Im glad you had a good time, but you shouldnt be driving "to the max" as you put it on a lapping day when skill levels vary so much - esp if it was your first time.

You make good points
Well to make it clear, it was most certainly a lapping day. Secondly I had
very little traffic to deal with, just the track to learn, and lastly I have alot
of driving experience and apptitude, coupled with the fact that I am a
technician, I would like to asure you that I posed no harm to myself or any
one else at the track on that day. I would however like to learn more about driving and the many techniques that can be applied in different situations with different setups. If there is any track days in conjunction with GT cars
I would like to be apart.
Thanks for listening jdm 101
