promotion at work
well i was asked to be a bay coordinator at work yesterday, which basically puts me in charge of the techs. I started a little over a month or so there, and this one kid who was cool as hell got a job as a toyota tech at a dealership, so yesterday was his last day, and they asked me to take over which is sweet. basically its the same work, but i have a lot of say about what goes on and i have some more responsibilities. should be fun tho.

damn dude no ****. i was going to post but i didnt wanna brag...
i got a promotion this week too. today was my first day as assistant manager. im at a different location, but same company. i have the same hourly pay, but now i work 6 days a week. and im going to start getting a commission. so it works out that i will more than double my pay. and IMO its actually less work. office work and sales. not much tire bustin anymore.
oh and sundays the two managers are off, so its just me running the place! anyways sorry for hijacking your thread. congrats matt.

thanks guys, and congrats Caleb, thats awesome. i dont think ill be getting an increase yet, but its easier work, i get to drive some badass cars, and theres mroe oppurtunity for the higher ups to see my leadership which could = more money eventually. but this job is still making me mucho cash compared to before, so i will have some nice **** coming in a few months.

where do you work matt? i like my job. its more responsibility, but less work. and the techs at this location really look up to me as the leader. i guess being ASE certified does mean something...
