lovely, more of big brother trying to keep tabs on us ... as much as i already hate having a top speed limiter, at least there's a function for it (since exceeding the design limits of a car can be dangerous), having a speed limit limiter can be dangerous as well. what if you need to overtake a car or full throttle past the speed limit to avoid a collision? with this device, you can't and may cause a dangerous situation in itself.

i really doubt a device like this would ever be installed standard on cars, probably for people who want to voluntarily put it in their cars

Imagine if they make this a safety (eh) requirement .

Those poor Germans ! ! ! They'd have to modify their 250 kmph autobahn ready cars , to import them into assortedfruitcakeland . :ugh2:

although similar systems have been tested in several European countries, according to the newspaper.

wont happen and ill tell you why...HOW ARE OUR POLICE SERVICES AND INSURANCE COMPANIES AND ONTARIO MINISTRY SERVICES gonna make money since we cant exceed speed limits alot of cops are gonna be lined up in tim hortons with nothing to do

just raise insurance some more on asian drivers and under 25 year old men for no reason
