New Pet, Part 2...
I got a replacement scorpion last week for the one that died at the end of Feb. It's a female, nameless right now, and... its pregnant. Most likely she will eat the young because she is stressed right now from the trip, the new cage, etc, etc, but hopefully one or two will live. Looks like the other one, but fat. lol

the ones in Arizona aren't that big, lol. The one I have (the yellow, Genii) is a Desert Hairy Scorpion, the biggest in America, common in AZ and is only 3.5-4" long as an adult. Now, the Emperor(Imp) I have is one of the 2 biggest species in the world, reaching lengths of up to 8 inches, and are the heaviest scorpions, also.

he's not that venemous, one of the least dangerous to humans.
I'm still trying to figure out whether the desert hairy is a pregnant female or just over fed, and possibly even male. But she won't come out of hiding!
