i think ive mastered interviews
ive gotten so good at looking for a new job, i dont even have to interview anymore. everytime i went for an interview when i was UNDER 18 i never got called.
my first interview as an 18 year old was at vince's pizza for a driver. that one wasnt that bad, and i got called back the next day and i started 2 days later.
then my next job was my mentor for my senior project. he called and already had an offer. no problem there.
when i was ready to move on to big o tires, i applied, he called and asked if i could come in on a saturday to work so they can see how i can do. i said yes, never even showed, then he called back and asked if i could come for an interview, which lasted 2 minutes and then bam he offered it to me right there.
that lasted a bit over a year, then i moved to valencia and went to the big o tires here for an interview. they liked me and the very next day they called and offered me a job.
and once the owner where i was currently working sabotaged that ****, i tried again at LA police gear. nailed that one, they called the next day. score.
and now for my most recent succes...i figured since im getting less hours at LAPG and all my nights are wasted here on the net, why not make money somewhere? so on monday i went to the ralphs (grocery store) thats literally a stones throw away (maybe for brett favre) to get some soda, i noticed a sign out of the corner of my eye about "now hiring" so when i got home i went online and did an application on their website not even knowing what position was available. they called me yesterday, today i had an "interview" at 4:30 which was me walking in, signing some papers, taking a quit drug test, signing some release papers for drug and background tests, and she'll call me on tuesday when the results come in. and since im clean, im pretty much hired.

which of course if you cant figure it out...LAPG more than pays my bills, so now ralphs will fund the mods to my ride
so i'll work LAPG 8-4:30 mon-fri then chill for a couple hours and work Ralphs from 7-midnight probably mon-thu just bagging **** or chasing carts or whatever. and after 60 days im all union. so medical and everything. and yes i know the union might go on strike, but whatever we'll see about that when it happens. until then i'll be working my *** off weekdays, and partying and gettin crunk on the weekends. thats how you work 60 hours a week. **** that working sat and sun at big o. im seeing more or and more how ****** that last job i had was.

My feelings on the matter is that if they're willing to hire you on the spot, you should just walk away. There's probably a reason they're so eager to get somebody hired on. That reason is probably either that they don't pay well and can't keep somebody in there or the job really sucks and they have a high turnover rate so they just put whoever they can find in the spot.
If they interview you once and tell you to come back then that means they're selective about who they employ and probably have a little more pride in their employees which means they'll probably treat them better. Just something to think about...

she told me they have a high turnover, and that they needed someone to fill the position immediately, so she told me she liked my resume, especially my management experience. and no, it doesnt pay well, but again this isnt my day job.
