Turns out I lied to myself. Went shopping today for a new TV so I can get everything ready for the Xbox 360 (I will be getting one before Christmas). So instead of getting long tube headers (Jet Hots from VRE) I will have to settle for something like a CAI. I still plan on getting LT's it will just take a few more months before I have the extra cash.

Even though the 34 cost more I might just for broke on this purchase. If I get the TV from Wal-Mart I can get it marked down 20%.

I'd pick the long tubes every time. I don't get the whole "I need an awesome TV for a gaming system I don't even have yet" thing.

Owning a 360 without an HDTV is like owning a 600 RWHP car riding on doughnuts, it just doesn't work out. Plus I work and go to school right now so when will I have the time to install LT's?

I am becoming less & less inclined to spend money on my car lately for some reason. I've been thinking of doing a cam this holiday.....but instead I think I would rather get a nice gaming PC (since mine sucks @ss).

I like those TVs.....that 34' is pretty sweet.

You shoulda got a TV on Friday after Thanksgiving. I saw a bunch of stores with 50-52" HDTVs for only $800-$1000.

You could probably find a cheap one on ebay too but most of them only do local pickup so you would have to find one in your area.

If you have to choose between those two though, I liked the 34" better

not true. my friend has a little 27 inch tv...we brought it to my house and hooked the HD **** up to my 780 43 inch tv and saw no difference. IMO the 360s graphics arent that much better...

but im with turbo boy...i dont even have time for my old xbox so its LTs for me.

I agree. I saw the games, and they dont look hardly anything better than regular XBox to me... maybe in the future when they start tweaking with the graphics engines, but right now, XBox 360 did not impress me at all.

And I will agree with you there... I havent gotten to play the game, I saw the demo for it, it does look nice, but it wasnt gameplay, so I coudnt make a judgement... Also heard it was fun.

no, it doesnt. i have PGR2 for xbox, my friend has PGR3 for 360. no dif. and go ahead and get DOA4 for the graphics cuz the gameplay sucks. i beat DOA3 in like 30 minutes. then i sold it

Their tweaking them now, a lot of the titles are rushed together so they do not take full advantage of the 360's power. I just sit and wait for the day Halo 3 comes out.

Dude back when DOA3 came out I still remember a few people I know who actually freaked out because of the "upskirt shots" on the game. Needless to say I ignore these people on campus.
