I really need to get a heavy blunt object to beat my friend with.

they have to prove it, and that's the tricky part.

I dunno, I always seem to go for younger girls... normally. My worst youngest was I went out with a 12 year old for 6 months while I was 15, lost my virginity to her haha. I remember going out with a girl that was one year younger, but two grades between us, and her parents freaked out because there was a two grade difference.. she was in 7th and I was in 9th if I remember correctly, it was pretty stupid of her parents, the girl got held back a year because she had a december birthday. On the flip side, I went out with a 21 year old while I was 17. So I've tasted both ranges, no pun intended, and I have to say younger girls or girls your own age seem better than older ones.
As far as your friend goes, tho, yeah... a ring to wait 4 years, ****. Girls that are 14 years old are barely able to keep their mind straight on one guy for over a year, let alone 4. I guess I can't really talk too much about the guy tho cause I bought an engagement ring for one girl after dating her for a month haha, needless to say it didn't last. Maybe he's just buying her the ring to buy her over, y'kno?

Honestly sounds to me like he's jst settling for what he can get for the moment. I don't blame him, really, BUT taking to that extreme is pretty ignorant. You live, you learn. Just let your bud make his own mistakes, then laugh at him and tell him "Told you so!"
