Sorry, I wasn't trying to imply that you were a being a jack*** to them at all. I was just hoping that you would see their side of it as well. I can relate you your story 100%. I had 35% on the front of my last car and got a ticket for it. You can see in it very easily, and you are also right that its just enough to give a decent look without being over obvious at the same time. But, when I got my windows tinted, I had to sign a waiver saying that I would not hold the shop responsible because I knew it was darker than the legal limit, barely-but still illegal. The guys there told me the same thing, I will probably get away with it, but there is a chance I won't as well.

There are many laws that I think are too strict and many that I think need to be stricter. The tint sucks for us law abiding people that would never pull a gun a cop, but a bad apple ruins it for everyone else...just suck it up and drive on brother...

You sound like my husband.. he usually escapes without a ticket, or gets off really easy when they do give him a ticket. He was busted doing about 100 in a 55, and about 80 or so in a 35 in the Trans Am. the State Cop wrote him up for like 45 in in a 35. He gets away with it because he never lies to them, is always polite, jokes a little with them, and does whatever they say. Anyone else I know would have been arrested after that.

I did 110 in a 70 and the cop did me a "favor" for not impounding my vehicle and just giving me the ticket.

Getting a ticket for doing 110 in a 70 - $925

Flying by the cop at 170 and finally slowing down because of traffic then getting pulled over by the cop 5 minutes later telling you that he couldnt get you on the radar because you were going to fast and your bikes too small so he had to call in the airplane to get your speed but you slowed down to 110 from 170 because of upcoming traffic.

It was fun...till the 4 hour drive down to that county just to go to court and the 4 hour drive back and then the 925 dollar fine he slapped on me...guess it wasnt really priceless after all but i guess it kinda was since i was doin a bit over 110. Guess...im tired im going to sleep.
