I bought a Shitty '93 Mustang 2 years ago for $300 and drove it around the Shawa for a day.

By the end of the day I was driving it better than my buddy who "knew what he was doing" .

I ****ed that car up something feirce in the end. LMAO

by the time i was 14 i had probably read 3+car magazines every month since i was maybe 6years old. every time they would talk about the actual driving part (trust me, read any 80's road and track issue and you will see what i mean) i would add it to my imagination and developed a mental picture on how to slip the clutch out, shift gears etc....
i learned to to heel-toe in about 5 minutes too. i had once seen a shrunk down photo of a lesson in an old alain prost driving book on how to do it properly, and had read about rev-matching etc... it always stuck in my mind, so i didnt have to figure out in my head what had to be done, i just had to apply what i already knew.
so basically i already knew how to do everything, it was just mechanics at that point... i had no problems driving the first time i tried it, because in my head i already knew how.
