Glock 17
Ok I haven't said anything but I've been looking into buying a handgun. I've talk to several people and have spent several hours each week at the firing range shooting different guns and the one that fits me and my needs the best is the Glock 17.
Does anyone know a good place to buy them online? The local gun shop is trying to sell it right under $700 and I know I can get it cheaper elsewhere.

lmao I dont know why I bursted out laughing after reading the first sentence.
Maybe its because I picture you waving a handgun around in the crappiest run down part of Ann Arbor in Michgan.

I would steer away from buying online, That being if you could even find anywhere to purchase it online. My best suggestion would be to just look around and didnt gun shops or try cabela's if there is one near you.
You might find one at a pawn shop also for a good price. Just keep in mind they will be use so I would suggest asking the owner to break the weapon down and check the barrel for cracks or burrs. Also check the locking block they are known to crack under high heat from firing a lot of round through it.
I plan on buying a Glock 36 for my own personal protection soon.

Okay.. I know you said you had you had this Glock 17 picked out and all, but why? There are SOOOOOOOOOOOO many other BETTER guns availible than the Glock.. All glocks are the same. Tired design I have a Baretta M9 and its awesome. A lot of people overlook it for its simplicity but the gun is a work of art. I LOVE IT. When i get back from Iraq ill be getting a Walther P99 thats one of the coolest guns imo. Check it out. Also the Springfield XD.

The M9 is a piece of **** in my opinion, I am my units armor you would not beleive how many of them crack under normal fireing. Every range we have I ship atleast 5 out to get fixed. Way to go army for going with the lowest bidder. I would much rather have a glock as my secondary.

Ive shot one and its a great and reliable gun as long as you maintain it, oil it and clean it after use ect.
If you dont mind pawn shops, you can get them there, but I would feel uneasy doin that because you dont know what the person did with the gun who owned it before. (if the gun was used for illegal purposes) People have bought guns from those stores and didnt know they were used as murder weapons or for criminal uses.
There are tons of glocs, such as this for the low 500's

pretty much any gun you need

yea def buying a gun from a shop is the best way to do it, pawn shop.... = bad...plus registration in this state is a requirement along with back ground checks and all of that. pretty strict here.
