Driver Going Wrong Way On 401 Dies In Crash

A motorist going the wrong way on the 401 was killed in a crash Saturday morning.
Police said a minivan was going eastbound in the westbound lanes when it collided head-on with another minivan heading westbound near Highway 427.
The wrong-way driver was killed and two people in the other vehicle were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Authorities had closed off the ramp from the northbound 427 to the westbound 401 for an investigation. Since then it's been fully re-opened.
OPP are appealing for witnesses. If you saw what happened call 1-888-310-1122.
