Decisions...New Years Present for myself
Im debating whether between two lifts for the jeep... Im debating between a 4.0 inch lift or a 6.5 Long Arm lift(pics below). I have decide to make my jeep the way i planned it when i first got it, Once i get the lift installed then im getting my custom hood made for it, which is just a 2 inch smooth edge cowl scoop riveted and molded in, then at the same time getting the K&N Air intake, and redo my whole exhaust with headers. Then jump to the inside and install a custom box that holds 3 12's, and 3 amps, one for each sub, with a flip out head unit, then screens in the headrests. After that I'm pretty much done with what i want to do till i get more radical ideas in my head.

I thought about going 4" with mine but I don't off-road with it so I just went the cheap way and put in the 2" budget boost. Even that with a little larger tire gave me 3" total lift so its enough to make a difference.
The 6.5" is a lot more money for not a lot more height. If it were me, I would just go with the 4" and save the other money for other projects..(ahem, another f-body). If you go with the 6.5" that means bigger tires which means higher in the air, which also means worse gas mileage. Unless you are bringing home some of your own oil I wouldn't want to affect the MPG that much.

either looks nice but the 4" is prolly more practical. whats the prices on the kits and labor difference?
what kinda subs are you running that you need an amp for each? and why are you doing 3 subs? better off going with 2 sealed and conserve a little space, plus you can run a nice size mono to power both of them. prolly save a lot of money, a decent amount of space and lots of wiring.hehe

Idk , the system is something i have wanted to try and do, something i have wanted to do for a while, but i dont need the space for anything, The whole 7 months i drove it i never used the rear space for anything besides a trash bin for road trips. All labor for the lift is going to be cheap because im going to have my uncle use his shop to do this lift for me

the nittos are nice, but theyre gonna cost a pretty penny.

yup, they are pretty pricey, but they balance out with no effort, the BF All Terrians balance out like ****, sometimes you get a bad tire that takes 10 ounces to balance out...I hated those tires...
