CSF 2006
Hey guys, Ive been working on a compilation for CSF 2006.. I have a sample for you
http://video.projectcamaro.com/video...c600200558.htm
Heres what sucks.. I had some great vids - Kyle on the dyno, me following the DH camaro back to the hotel, ect... But if any of you have worked with windows movie maker before, you will know how ****** it is... After you get so far into a movie, it cant handle crap anymore, and your computer basically freezes up.. So its all pictures, but theyre good ones!
Im just finishing it up actually.. I only have one more day left to put on the video, then Ill post up the whole thing, but this is just the first half approx. Video will work when THE GREAT ONE approves it

Paar, There is an option in movie maker to have it save every so often, I have mine save ever 2mins incase the computer ever freezes up due to problem u said, The soccer movie I made for my hs last year was over 24mins long I had that problem but set it to auto save every 2 mins and all was fine.

Yeah I know it saves... but thats not the problem. I have a 5 minute song, with anywhere up to 300+ pictures at 2-3 megs each. Throw in a few hundred megs of movies, and try it.
This has happened every single time Ive used WMM. I can get away with pictures, but as soon as you throw a movie in there thats 80 megs, or a shitton of visual effects, it freezes. And I know its processor/ram based. I did this with my movie last year for Porky's and I could get so far before it froze, then we would throw it on adrics computer and be able to get farther, to a certain point where it would nearly freeze. And thats going from a 1 gig to a 4 gig system. Its thier program, its very intensive, especially when you work up large files like I am. And this Im trying to finish with 2 gigs of ram.
Anyways, well hopefully one of them optmizes within the next few days then... I never have to wait this long for a video to optimize. Who can I contact about this "Check back in a few minutes" turning into "36 hours later and nothing" ?
