Crazy company concept... easy way to make money
Well first off, I hope this post is not deleted by someone thinking this is a scam, because it is definately not.
There's a growing company in Toronto that I have recently become a part of.. when you buy into the program you sign on for really nice discounts on just about everything, clothes, cars, food, electronics, furniture, etc., but there's also a referral bonus program (a.k.a. network marketing) where you will be making substantial money from... around 800 dollars per person, and after a few people you can continue doing this or make passive income off others. At minimum you will be racking in an extra 1350 a month, and if you come out a few times a month you can easily make a few thousand and more, it grows.
I won't explain too much, because people bash they don't understand or don't believe could possibly be real. No obligation, just come see what it's about. Must be 18 or over... PM me if you're interested in this type of business concept and we can talk over phone or MSN
I joined after my buddy was making more money through passive income in this program than I was working full time.. and I am making over 19/hr. It's kind of depressing going to work when you realize that
Please no flaming, honest questions are welcome.

Yes, Pyramid schemes are illegal. Now they refer to it as Network Marketing and give you something or a discount on something so your not just buying into an Idea like a Pyramid scheme.
My aunt lost her house to "Network Marketing" because she was putting it all in for the "Big Payoff". Get in early , Make some cash then jump out quick.
That's the only way.
Good way to make enemies too.

You get paid every week here... I've made money, my friend has made money, his friend who introduced it to him has made money, and you get paid every week. Mortgaging your house and dumping a lump sum into a corporation, yes, that is the foundation of a pyramid scheme. But I doubt anyone on here could even explain a pyramid scheme in full, so it's not something they should be bringing up :P
This is a really interesting company because you find out that people are so bred into the fact that if something has a nice way to make money it is obviously bullshit, and people will stay clear of it.
Anyway, anyone who is actually interested let me know. You can judge for YOURSELF instead of letting others talk you down

Most pyramid schemes are attempts to confuse potential consumers into complicated but convincingly fool-proof money making scams. The essential idea behind each scam is that the individual only makes one payment, but somehow they are promised to receive exponential benefits from other people as a reward. A common example might be that a victim is enticed with an offer that, for a fee, allows them to sell the same offer to other people. Each sale includes a fee to the original seller. Clearly, the fundamental flaw is that there is no end benefit; the money simply travels up the chain, and only the originator wins in swindling his followers. Furthermore, the people in the worst situation are the ones at the bottom of the pyramid: those who subscribed to the plan, but were not able to recruit any followers themselves. To embellish the act, most such scams will have fake referrals, testimonials, and information.
And its illegal in Canada

Excellent cutting and pasting... once again, this is not what this is about, nor does a pyramid business model reflect the model of this company

Okay, so let me get this straight, you pay into this scheme, and you get discounts on stereo equipment and crap, then you drive around to tim hortons and stuff like that and ask people if they want to buy a brand new surround sound system out of your trunk? I saw one of those people today
edit: Man I hope you realise just how monetarily owned youve become, tell me how much 'discounted easily sellable merchandise' have you bought so far?
sorry I shouldnt make fun, I sortve feel bad for you
annnyways this thread needs to take a walk to the talking section

It's ok, I understand, there are so many companies that rip you off that this would seem like crap. It's not selling merchandise though, it's a membership for discounts on everything. The company's been around for years, it's affiliated with Petro Canada, Roots, Danier Leather, Lenscrafters, Hakim Optical, I could go on, but I assure you any single one of these companies would not be affiliated with a pyramid scheme. It's multi-level marketing, everyone can research that if they like, there are good companies and there are bad companies. With this one my buddy paid off the loan on his RSX-S.
I have heard of one where you get "discounts" on cheap merchandise that you are supposed to try and sell.. Quixtar I think? Their meetings were in Coffee Time.
